Vestfold University College has two semesters each year. The Fall semester typically begins in the mid-August, and the Spring semester at the beginning of January.
Spring Semester 2013
- 03rd of January, 2013 – 21st of June,2013
- Orientation Day for all incoming interantional students: 1st of February (Outdoor Education), 2nd of January (others)
- No lectures: 25th of March - 1st of April (Easter holidays).
Fall Semester 2013
- 19th of August, 2013: Orientation Day for all incoming international Students
- 20th of December, 2013: Last day of School
Spring Semester 2014
- 2nd of January, 2014: First day of School (degree-seeking students)
- 2nd of January: Orientation for Erasmus Mundus students & Exchange students other than Outdoor Education
- 3rd of February: Orientation for Exchange Students to Outdoor Education
- 14th of April - 21st of April. 2014: No lectures (Easter)
- 2nd of May, 2014: Holiday
- 20th of June, 2014: Last day of School
