Harald Fardal er høgskolelektor med IT-ledelse som faglig område. Fardal er primært opptatt av samspillet mellom IT og mennesker i organisasjoner. For tiden holder han på med en doktorgrad med fokus på IT-strategiske prosesser, som ferdigstilles om kort tid.

The Thesis investigated motivational factors in computer training.

Admitted to the Doctoral program at Bodø Graduate School of
Business. In my dissertation I focus on IT-strategy and IT-use. My main
research question is: To what extent may the relationship between IT/IS
use and IT/IS strategy be identified as reflexive?
My main advisor is Jan Oddvar Sørnes at Bodø Graduate School of
Business. I expect to finish the dissertation in the autumn of 2010.
