Before Arrival

There are many small, but important things you have to remember when you are preparing for arrival in Norway. After your arrival you will need to register at the police station, get your social security number (if you are staying for more than 6 months), and sign your housing contract, just to name a few tasks. But not to worry - the staff at the International Relations Office, together with your student tutor, will guide you through your preparations.

    Vestfold University College has two semesters each year. The Fall semester typically begins in the mid-August, and the Spring semester at the beginning of January.

    As an international student we help you to find accomodation if you apply within deadlines. You need to apply for room directly (web based application form) even if you haven't yet received your Letter of Admission. The earlier you apply, the more secure you are of getting a room.
