Engineering: International Major Project

The Faculty of Science and Engineering can give supervision/guidance to execute a final project within the following areas of study: Electronics, Product Design, Microsystems Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Automation.

  • Offered: Fall and Spring semester
  • Level: bachelor
  • Faculty: Faculty of Technology and Maritime Studies
  • ECTS: 20 (approximately 10 US credit hours)
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Location: Campus Bakkenteigen
  • Admission deadline: Fall: 15th of May for exchange students, 1st of March for other applicants. Spring: 15th of November for exchange students, 15th of October for other applicants.NOTE: depending on demand, this course might be offered only to our exchange students.

About the course:

The purpose of the Major Project-course is to demonstrate that the students are able to plan and execute a techical prosject under academic supervision and methological guidance. The students are expected to carry a project from an idea to a finished product/paper and thus demonstrate skills and knowledge in choosing and using a scientific method. The students also should be able to present the finished product in both scientific and marketable way.
