About the Thesis

The purpose of the master's thesis is to demonstrate that the students are able to carry out an individual research project under academic supervision. The students are expected to demonstrate their ability to apply the knowledge they have aquired during their studies, to work and to report their work according to scientific standards.

The thesis work is performed and supervised at Vestfold University College, in agreement with the home university. The evaluation is done at the home university.

Projects can be within the range of research activities performed at the Institute of Microsystem Technology at Vestfold Univesity College.

Target groups

Master's (graduate) students studying various subjects in the field of Engineering at the master's level.

(micro- and nanotechnology, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, bioengineering, physics and chemistry), wishing to perform a master's thesis in Microsystems Engineering. Note: the students need to have a supervisor/ contact person at their home university to make the necessary arrangements with Vestfold University College./p>

Prerequisites

A good command in English language, both written and spoken.
