Academics - Faculties and Programs
Vestfold University College offers a broad portfolio of professional studies. Our teaching is founded on research and characterised by close interaction between students and academic staff. We prepare our students for professional careers within health services, education, management, as well as for technical, maritime, financial and administrative positions.
We offer degrees at the bachelor's, master's and Ph.d. level. Vestfold University College also cooperates closely with Østfold University College, Buskerud University College and University of Life Sciences.
Norway is a leading country in implementing the guidelines set forth by the Bologna Process in European higher education. The degree system based on the bachelor's, masters and Ph.d. structure has been successfully implemented, together with the ECTS credits system. By adapting to the European standard in higher education Norwegian institutions make it easy for students to obtain recognition of their qualifications in other countries.

Tuition Fees
12.01.2009VUC is a state owned institution and thus we don't charge tuition fees. This applies to both Norwegian students and international students.

Programs and Courses Offered in Norwegian
10.03.2009At present VUC offers 20 bachelor and eight graduate programs. In addition we offer many year-long courses in a wide variety of subjects.
