An international affair

Technologic research is an international affair. A randomly selected article from researchers at Vestfold University College illustrates the statement.

Many countries involved in one single scientific articleThe article is bears the title Compound Speckle Characterization method and Reduction by Optical design and is born out of a research project at Vestfold University College in cooperation with NTNU and Projection Design.

The first author of the article, Zhaomin Tong, has his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from North University of China in Taiyuan. He is at present working on his Ph.D at Vestfold University College.

Second author, Xuyuan Chen, is a Professor at Vestfold University College. He has his Bachelor’s Degree from North West University in Xian, China, and his Master’s Degree from Xian Jiatong University, China.

Professor Xuyuan Chen has his Ph.D from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands and has since then worked in Canada, in Tromsø, Norway, at the University of Colorado Boulder, USA, before he came to SINTEF in Oslo and from there to Vestfold University College.

Third Author, Muhammad Nadeem Akram, received his Bachelor’s Degree at University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan, and his Master’s Degree at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia. His Ph.D is from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

Muhammad Nadeem Akram is an Associate Professor at Vestfold University College since 2006

Fourth author, Astrid Aksnes, is Professor at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. She has her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Glasgow, UK, and her Ph.D from NTNU. She has been with the NTNU since 1997.
