Preschool Teacher Education

Preschool Teacher Education rewards you with a bachelor's degree and qualifications to be employed as pedagogical personnel in kindergarten.

At Vestfold University College (VUC), you can either be a full-time student for 3 years or a part-time student for 4 years. As a full time student, you can choose between two different programs: an ordinary education program with a variety of subjects or an education with aesthetics in  focus. All programs include 20 weeks of guided practice, 18 weeks in kindergarten and 2 weeks in lower primary school and qualify you as a preschool teacher.

If you want to continue with a master's degree, VUC can offer a Master's in Preschool and Professional Development (120 ECTS).
