Tuition Fees

There is a small mandatory fee covering such benefits as membership in the Student Welfare Organization and use of printers, etc.  - the fee for the academic year 2008/2009 is NOK 1300.

If you plan to attend VUC  as an exchange student through our folowing agreement schemes (Erasmus,Nordplus, ISEP) you are automatically exempt from any fees.

However - if you plan to attend VUC as a regular degree-seeking student, or come from outside the EU-area, the Directorate of Immigration requires you to document that you have financial funds sufficient to support yourself during the stay at the Norwegian institution.

For the academic year 2009/2010, international degree-seeking students must have, and document, a minimum of NOK 8,900,- per month (full year = 10 months). Otherwise you will not be granted a residence permit by the Directorate of Immigration.
