Sist oppdatert 17.08.2010 av Maija Heinilä

We're not the largest of institutions, but we have a dedicated and highly professional staff and hard-working students. We offer a range of studies that give our students professional competence that benefits both themselves and their communities.

At our Campus we offer bachelor's degrees in social sciences and maritime studies and Master's (graduate) and Bachelor's (undergraduate) degrees in various fields of health, education and engineering.

Students at a trip to the sea!

Our job is to provide the best possible conditions for your professional and personal development. We have excellent teachers and researchers who know how to communicate with their students and create a good learning environment. Learning and research cannot be isolated from their practical applications. We believe in a knowledge partnership with the wider community to which we belong. Thus, we have established research and teaching relationships with industry and regional educational and health institutions.

We'll do our utmost to help make you feel at home and make the most of your studies. We can offer the opportunities. It's up to you to grasp them.

Study Off the Beaten Track

In our northern corner of the world you can combine your studies with exciting outdoor activities, both winter and summer. You can see the Aurora Borealis ("Northern lights"), experience the midnight sun, fjords and mountains. Challenge yourself with skiing, white water rafting or climbing. Or simply enjoy the fresh air, clean water and lots and lots of space. As a student in Norway you will never be short of possibilities for unique outdoor experiences.
